Commercial Road - London

This mixed-use complex on Commercial Road in East London involved the demolition and reconstruction of a former warehouse and brewery building which were both Grade II listed buildings and a new 18 storey tower of 317 apartments predominantly for the high end student accommodation market.

PSP Architectural worked in collaboration with the sub-contractor, UK Facades at an early design stage of the new accommodation tower, in order to propose the most suitable and cost effective solution for the 2,000 sqm project.

Early involvement was essential as the system gave consideration to window reveals and soffit areas as well as accommodating the saw-tooth design of the building.
