Copper Rainscreen Cladding
Pure copper is soft and malleable, and a freshly-exposed surface has a pinkish or peachy colour. Copper compounds are known in several oxidation states, usually +2, where they often impart blue or green colours to natural minerals such as turquoise and have been used widely as pigments. Copper metal architectural structures eventually corrode to acquire a characteristic green patina.
Panels can be supplied in the original red type colour which over a period of time will begin to continually change very gradually. This change in colour is not predictable therefore the shades of brown will vary widely until the ultimate green patina is reached.
Panels can however be supplied in the pre-patinated state (one side) however the Patina is always extremely varied, just as you would expect from a natural surface.
